There are 36 contestants from 10 asian countries (Bashkir, China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam) to participate the contest. Xin Ray from China was crowned Asian Super Model 2011 on September 6, 2011 in Quangxi, China during the contest.

After the photo-shoot, Leila Lopes gave the first interview to PIX Morning News on September 19, 2011. When asked about the report of a Argentina’s Newspaper that she had used forged documents to qualify Miss Angola in United Kingdom, Leila Lopes confirmed: “I provided all the required documents!”
