Dong Ha-Chae, formerly from the popular K-Pop ballad group SG Wannabe, hanged himself after suffering from extreme depression. Among the theories surrounding his untimely demise is that the K-Pop star was still extremely depressed by the death of his manager two years ago who took his life by inhaling gas.
I normally do not post outside of my “anything Korean in the Philippines and vice versa” but this one definitely deserves a place in this blog. Let’s remember Dong Ha-Chae with his song, “Gloomy Sunday”, that perfectly captures the feeling of this moment.
Rest in peace, Dong Ha-Chae. You will be missed.
