So,news is...Shamim Fauz ALI Miss Kenya 2012 has made it to the Semi Finals of Miss World 2012 for Top Model Category!

 Shamim who is 18yrs old...is an Architecture student and lives in Mombasa

 She aspires to become a designer and describes herself as a hard-working and caring person.

 Among other countries mentioned in the Top Model category is Angola, Nigeria, Kenya,Brazil, Jamaic,a Lithuania, Argentina, India, Sri Lanka, Chile, Ireland, Guadeloupe, Bahamas, Japan, England, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Spain, Guatemala, Austria, Trinidad and Tobago, Slovakia, Gabon, Wales, Turkey, Cote D’Ivoire, Mexico, Australia, Colombia, Denmark, South Sudan, Venezuela, Israel, Puerto Rico, Belize, Mongolia, Poland, Greece, China PR, Ukraine, Sweden, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Bermuda, Suriname .

Kenya being the only East African country that is in this list of 47 countries. The new and youngest country, South Sudan has also made it to the list....while Tanzania (who made it to the quarter final)  is nowhere to be seen in the new list.
